Job Title: Business Development Specialist
Job Description:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging travel trends, travel development, and tourism hotspots in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America by closely monitoring news and social media trends to create innovative and marketable tour products.
- Create and develop detailed and engaging tour package proposals, with a particular focus on Asian, European, African and Latin American countries, that cater to a diverse range of traveler interests.
- Incorporate interest areas such as local history, cuisine, and unique cultural experiences into tour itineraries to enhance and deepen the touring experience for clients.
- Communicate and maintain relationships with local suppliers, partners, vendors, hotels, transportation providers and attraction sites to secure competitive rates and ensure seamless experiences for our clients.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular product assessments, by monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, industry trends, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancement and develop targeted sales strategies.
- Address customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall customer experience.
- Monitor government policy and regulation changes with regard to foreign tourists and report any updates to the team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and operations, to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities, and to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Salary: $48,693 per year.
Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Tourism Management. Equivalent foreign degree accepted.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong research, organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
